BMES x LDL Interview Prep Night
Thu 3/12 6-7 pm – Summit Auditorium @ Imagine Center
Join BMES and the Life Design Lab for a focused interview preparation session designed specifically for biomedical engineers. This workshop will combine lecture and guided discussion on what employers are truly assessing in technical and behavioral interview spaces — from explaining complex concepts clearly to structuring problems in real time.
Students will gain insight into common readiness gaps, learn practical response frameworks, and better understand how interview performance is evaluated. The session will conclude with peer mock interviews and rubric alignment to help translate feedback into measurable growth.
Come ready to reflect, practice, and elevate how you show up in interview spaces.

Upcoming opportunities
Volunteer at the BPI STEAM Extravaganza!
Sat 3/7 1-5 pm @ Baltimore Polytechnic Institute
BMES will be hosting a Biomedical Engineering booth at the STEAM Extravaganza at Baltimore Polytechnic Institute. The booth will feature a hands-on, drop-in activity designed for K–8 students and families, where kids can explore how engineering and medicine work together. Volunteers will help answer questions, and teach students about real-world applications of BME, as well as what it’s like to study engineering at Johns Hopkins.
